I'd feel criminal doing that. I just went to order from Farnell but at nearly £20 once you add P&P I think that's also fairly criminal I'll call CPC tomorrow and see what they say.

if it works it works an new controller probably cheaper! solder 1 wire on screw it!

I found some similar ones from RS, they're only 2 way but with 2 side by side I obviously have the same job done. £9 including next day postage. Feel a bit happier about that so I ordered them.

i agree its not as original as is new but make a decent job of it it would be better, some times a fix done well is good better than new if the parts used as most boards these days are made as cheap as poss
