When I was talkling about using thin CuSi wire for Mig Brazing. I was trying to say that the use of thin wire will allow the user to drop the temps a bit and exploit the low heat aspect of brazing (reduce damage to galvanising and reduce heat spread/warpage). I would have thought using a thicker wire would just lose all that and we would be back to the range of blowing holes.
Weldequipe, I did check up on the expense of the CuSi wire. I guess, it might still useable in smaller quantities to cover up for my cack-handedness.
