The felt usually sags a bit and this should allow adequate ventilation if the gap between the tiles and the felt is ventilated.
Does the roof have vents at the eaves or in the soffit of the facias?

no the vents are 2 sides of the apex to blow through

You can get systems that fit in your loft and gently and silently blow air (filtered) from the loft into the living area for ventilation, they work wonders on condensation.

Have a look for the Nuaire Drimaster on google. Used to fit the odd one in the sparking days, worked wonders by all accounts.

will try the cheap ways first than have a look at that thanks

I've seen a lot of condensation where the ball valve and so header tank level on heating headers is sitting too high and the vent pipe reaches down to the water level (or vice versa) - first time there's expansion thermo-syphon pulls hot water from the cylinder into the header and it keeps on siphoning, it steams away, filling the loft...

Drying cloths on radiators, tumble dryer not vented correctly. A dehumidifier works wonders.

Not a leak - the shepherd's crook over the header tank dipping into the water is all it takes, it sets up a syphon with hot water rising from the cylinder in the airing cupboard, cold water feeding from the header into the bottom of the boiler - how central heating (and car engine cooling) worked in the olden days before water pumps. The shepherd's crook is there as a relief valve should the flow to the boiler be blocked, to allow steam to vent instead of building pressure and something blowing up.

Window needs to be cracked open every night, air house out during day, insulate between the rafters in the loft, don’t bother insulating the roof. Keep the loft cold and well ventilated.

The moisture must be coming from somewhere. So you’ve either got moisture coming in through the roof, walls or it’s man made and coming from breathing, drying xlothes, shower, or cooking.

There are two causes of condensation, water vapour in the air, and a cold surface for it to condense on, even double glazed windows will be colder than the surrounding building surfaces, so any condensation there will show the presence of moisture in the air. Insulate the loft to modern standards, you need at least 9" of glass or rockwool , fitted properly right to the edges of the eaves so it is continuouswith the cavity insulation. You cannot dry clothes in the house unless you have a tumble dryer which vents outside! If you fill the air with moisture by using a hanging dryer or radiators it will find the coolest surface and condense. the answer is to heat AND ventilate until the dampnes has gone. Check fall pipes, rainwater downpipes and drains, and gutters to make sure you have no penetrating dampness. It is useless to have cavity insulation without really good loft insulation Heat rises! hope this helps!

im assuming so he just said as we where at work he said it was at 70 on the meter

first problem is hes keeping the door shut on there bedroom so there is 2 people sleeping there with no where for the air to go

it really needs to be down under 50 percent and easy achieved using the dehumidifier . its surprising how much air you breathe that causes humidity

2 people wouldnt make much of a difference

its showers, dryers or steamy cooking is a main difference

the alternative is failures in materials of the property

if theres been no change to the walls either there not doing whats been asked of them and depending on weather there alot of rain ?

gutters leaking or overflowed ?
