Smells like a scam and the original images on Ebay from 2016 have 1 extra image showing the machine plate with saying it is 110v.. you think Ebay might be able to create a filter in its own software to detect fraud with copied images.

Looks like online chat with an ebay rep is the best option Someone from ebay just too a look and said the seller has breached their listing policy and they'll be taking action. unfortunately the action could be anything from an 'informational' message through to suspension.

Hopefully it'll get cancelled before someone is ripped off

With this grounds, I will now record and document this on the account of the seller. We will now monitor all their activities and if we found a strong pattern of unreasonable behavior, we will take appropriate action which could lead to an immediate suspension of their eBay account.

We would not be able to confirm this, Peter. We would need to further investigate as it is possible that the seller of this item is the buyer of the item that was auctioned last 2016.

My best recommendation here is that if in case you won the item, you first arrange viewing of the item.

I suppose there is a miniscule chance that the seller went to the effort of importing a low quality mill from California , paying freight vat import duty to then resell on ebay using the old photos. And to do the same on a tube bender.

Tell them he offered to sell it out of ebay, the will close the account asap
