From the help you folks have given regarding CAD software, it's apparent that you are knowledgeable regarding the computer sidecof things. With that in mind I wonder if I might trouble you for further advice.
I have just had a repair to my computer which required a new graphics card and a wipe and reinstall of my hard drive. This lost my programs which has left me stuck in some aspects which I want to avoid in future.
So to avoid this in the future I would like to have a back up. For this I would like an external hard drive so that it's less likely to get taken if the computer gets nicked. I presume I will need an external drive and a backup program. My PC has two drives - a 120mb ssd which runs the programs and a standard drive for storage.
So firstly, can you backup to reinstate a drive so you don't loose my system with programs.
Secondly, is there a backup program that can do this.
What drive would you recommend and also avoid.
And finally do I need two drives, one for each of the internal drives, or will one be OK
Thanks again for any help you can give.
