Compressor motor advise .

I've no idea what currant its drawing , the new motor is 1.5 kw as opposed to old 1.1 kw , the pump pulley is pulling air over the pump and I actually wanted to lower the cut of pressure a bit .

There's an outside chance the pulley is optimised for flow that way, but I would expect it should be blowing over the pump, not sucking. It's far easier to drive flow with pressure than vacuum.

There's no need to have the pressures set that high. Most air tools have a max pressure below 100 psi.

Reducing the cut off pressure won’t cause a problem

Yea I know that , its what to adjust in the old pressure switch I didn't know but thats now sorted
