Thats exactly how I load my kubota mower, normal car ramps and a scaff board for the inner wheels (it has 4 wheels, but two are almost touching each other at the rear so it can do zero turn). I hardly ever need to trailer it anywhere though. The last thing I want to get into is cutting grass for other people too!

Also is it only the deck that's 7ft wide? you can drop the deck off the arms and mount it fore and aft on the trailer, usually you pull some pins and slide the pto shaft out to detach it for servicing anyway.

Now that is an idea! Have messaged the seller to double check how easy it is to remove the deck.

Removing that deck will require 2 strong men and maybe a trolley jack.
It will be quite a heavy lift onto the trailer.
But removing it will give you a good chance to strip and service it and weld up any rust holes.

if you have some car dollies or 2 wheel trucks, or some decent dollies why lift it, just use the mower's deck lift hydraulics to pick it up, slide the dollies etc under and unbolt it and drag it into position right on the car trailer deck.
Works for me.

Found the best solution, get someone else to do it!

Friend of a friend picked it up today, charged less than it was going to cost me in fuel and lost wages

Just need some dry weather now
