Comfortable spanners

What spanners has a thicker more comfortable handle that would be less sore on the hands?
I'm using teng which i think are great value but they are very fine which cuts the hand off you if using a lot of force.
Any using milwaukee? Are they a thicker spanner?

I’ve only seen combi spannred in the shop but not had my hands on them. They looked to be the same thickness as the spanner ends but hollows out in the middle.
I can tell you the Wera Joker wont be any good for you. They‘re quite thin near the spanner ends but thick in the middle where you supposed to grip but no one ever does.
Have you tried gloves?

I normally wear latex gloves, sometimes I wear heavier gloves but they can feel clumsy.
I have one old britool spanner which is fairly thick but the range has probably changed from that.

I’ve just sorted out my sons tool box. He has a set of Boxo spanner’s, they are quite thick.

X-beam (from any manufacturer that makes them) would be the most comfortable I'd say....if you're willing to pay.

I have an imperial set, they are a little more comfortable than a "normal" shape spanner, they are also sold as USAG by Frosts.

Pu palm gloves would be another option, Skytec Ohio are nice I need another assembly line job for a few months so I can stock up.

Are we talking just about combination spanners? If you don't need the open end, ring spanners are usually more comfortable and longer. Aviation spanners also give you a very long zero offset spanner which is very easy to use if you have the clearance to use it.

For combination, I found the stahlwille 14 series quite nice. The facom ones are very comfortable, and by far the most ergonomic, but they are quite short which can be a downside as far as comfort goes.

The Halfords Pro / Advanced ones are about the most comfortable I have. Slightly thicker and longer than most of my others. King Dick are quite nice and feel good in the hand, sensibly priced too.

The sets I don’t like are Kamasa which are too thin, but useful for brake callipers where a thin spanner is needed. The Snap On set I have are not the go to set, just not as comfortable in the hand as Halfords.

Double ended ring spanners are a different story though, Britool all the way. I also kind of like the Nielsen flat and very long ones but they aren’t the best quality. Just handy for getting inside long box sections etc.

As above you will not get a more comfortable spanner than facom 440 spanner set. Also branded Mac at twice the price. They are also quite reasonably priced imo.

They used to do hand saver spanners with a twist in them so worked with a flat end.

Snap on has a extra long combination spanner, and that is unique I believe? Not cheap though.
I have one of those at work and it is very nice. Less usefull i think if you are working under the bonnet of a car.
Manufacturers can make more money by shaving off a few mm, hence the ever shorter screwdrivers.
