Fairly local to me....
Surely he's being a tad optimistic there even if it was mint. It looks like it has been kept in a puddle! Literally.
Despite this, I'm tempted to ask to look as it is pretty close and if it is just light surface rust but not actually too worn it may be fine and actually be a good haggling point. But with a guide price like that, we'd be unlikely to be able to agree on a price!

scrap value

an odd call but .scrap the rest and get 100 quid for it and your 85 quid up on the deal .even more if u advertise it for the spare parts before u scrap it
