Coded welding

I've recently start a course to become coded in Arc and tig welding in order to get my G6 coding. Can i still get a job as a pipe welder if i only get a coding for the 2G and 5G positions in Arc and a coding for v butt welding in tig 4G position. The reason for my question is that i am paying for the coding myself. Will this be a high enough standard of coding for someone to take me on and train me up to the G6 position?
