Anyone interested in a Cobra thread?

It's a car I built nearly 30 years ago; I've put a few miles on it over the years but I finished it just about the time I got married, had children, bought houses etc. so it's been languishing in the shed for quite a while now.

With he end of my Bedford project in sight I'm just starting to think about pulling the Cobra out and deciding what needs doing, collecting parts and so on so it won't be a fast moving thread by any means.

    What do the team think?

You can't tease us like that. Fixing the snake and creating a thread must be top priority

Photo would be around 1998/99. It looks much the same, just generally tattier. I started it up about 2 years ago and it sounded very sick - a lifter stuck I think.

The engine is a 1963 Corvette 327 somewhat modified.

You really want the whole saga?

Should be a good thread. Going through and refurbishing old projects is interesting especially after so many years as you can see a change in work quality and methods used. I was thinking about this earlier today as I'm off out for breakfast with a friend and we will be discussing the resurrection of his Opel Manta project we started last century!
