Hi ,I am in the medway towns and want a cheap supply of co2, it is for both welding and to dispense my home brew,i currently use more homebrew than welding wire!I have an account with adams but they want £55 deposit and £24 for a fill, will an argon/co2 mix affect my beer?

Try a "wine/cellar" supplier <£45 for cylinder and gas. <£20 refill

Supebad is that a 5lt extingusher or a 5lt gas cylinder? Just wondering if they are happy to refill gas cylinders? (assuming in date)

It's a 5lt cylinder. What's involved regarding the "in date"? I suspect it involves the service life of the cylinder

I use extinguishers, the guy I get them from doesn't fill or pressure check them himself but keeps a stock and sends a batch away at a time.

IIRC the C02 ones need pressure checked/refilled every few years and I'll take him my empty, he swaps it for one that is unused but due to go back and get emptied/tested/refilled.
