co2 cylinder pressure

hi guys i have a 4ft co2 pub bottle with 100% c02 its brand new and fully filled.

but the regulator i have when i open the valve has the bottle pressure and the flow rate the thing is the cylinder pressure is not very high at all but the bottle is full its reading about 500psi i am used to working with nitrogen and oxy bottles at work which are 4600psi when full

any ideas thanks guys or have i been ripped off with not a full bottle

Pure CO2 is liquid and sits at around 50 bar. You'll notice the bottle pressure stays constant until all the liquid has boiled off and then it drops very quickly.
