Ive thought about a CNC plasma table before but always written them off due to the cost.
However, laser firms round here are getting so slow and dear I can’t see any other way of producing one off or small quantity parts cost effectively.
Anyone got any recommendations? I’d like to use a hypertherm power source really due to reliability and availability of spares.
2000x1000 minimum and I suppose cut up to 20mm thick.
I’m guessing weight will be the factor there as a table to take a 20mm would have to be pretty substantial, so maybe only up to 15mm full sheets?
Just weighing up cost vs return here, because I’d need to budget for a proper compressor with dryer.
