I've been on the lookout for a CNC plasma table for a while. Been to have a look at a few and they have turned out to be hammered outdated junk.
There's one i'm looking at the moment, seems ok. The software is 'Burny 3'.
Looking on the internet, it seems quite outdated software, however cutting out a shape is cutting out a shape isnt it? It comes with standard shapes but quite often we need to cut some fairly complex shapes that won't be a standard item.
I'm told it can cut out any shape that can be drawn on a computer. Ideally i want to be able to send it a dxf/dwg? file direct from my computer an cut it (If thats how it works?)
Having our own profiler will save us quite a bit subbing it out, plus it would save us time/money cutting 'standard' plates on the bandsaw, then punching and cleaning up.
Anybody shed any light?
