I faced with the same error in a similar device. After battery replacement, it shows a new "internal connection error" message. Maybe I changed the wrong battery. Could you send your detailed procedure to fix the error, please?
Does the instrument work well after battery replacement? Didn't you need to do something else? I heard that these batteries work for several years and rarely need replacement.

I remember I got a similar message with one of the two machines, I'd made an error with one of the internal connectors, it was either one of the ethernet or usb connections. Once I fixed that it power up no problem.

Thank you very much for your response. Our machine is exactly the same model you worked on.
I have worked on this machine and replaced the battery on one of the boards. However, the problem persists. Based on the pictures you provided, I realized we replaced the wrong battery.
To address the internal connection error, I will follow your recommendations and update you with the results.
Regarding the repair procedure, I'm unable to access the service mode. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with any instructional documents from Roche.

That's odd, the units I worked on didn't have a battery there, it was on the single board computer housed under the stainless steel cover. Be very careful when removing the cover as you can easily pull out the camera USB connector from the motherboard. It's just plugged into a header on the left. One pulled out there is no way to tell where it was plugged in.
I left my job a month ago so have no access to the info I got from the manufacturer.
If you email Ken Spottiswoode at Dundee Uni (sls-ews@dundee.ac.uk) he will be able to look up the email with the attachment as we kept a folder for every job.
