Well this thread has got me to build a rack for wire. It's lived in a massive box, is heavy and a mare to find owt. So its been long on the tuit list. Made from shelving up rights, and some powered coated ali toob some one gave me.
Problem was I haven't any space... well, I do have 8" in front of some selves, problem it's also 4' off the ground.
So the frame was hinged to the wall, bit of wire to hold it in place

ive started the first part of the plan to make space, i need somewhere to store all the random bits of steel that i collect like a magpie. At the moment the pile of steel takes up one quarter of the shed, but im building this and storing the steel underneath.
I never liked the first one i made, the box section i used was too light, so when i added the plasma grill to it, the extra weight made the whole bench sag.
I was very disappointed with it. This is better.
I didnt know you could paste images directly into a reply on this forum, interesting.

so i worked my butt off for the last two two weeks to get the shed ready. i built the shelves in 8 hours i think... something like that. I didnt have time to get them perfect, just no time. but they work.
the machine arrived yesterday. it was a complete dog to get into the shed once it was off the truck. i use a steel ladder as a lever to move it, it weighs 700kg. I boxed myself into the jaw with the lever and then again into the cheek. so im sitting here today and my arms hurt and ive a lump on my face. BUT, the frigging thing is in.
I was so messed up i couldnt even sit back and savour it last night, going to do that tonight. Hood check out the servo drives. I'm planning on buying 2 hind masso controillers, one for the plasma and one for the gerber. Also. I've decided to get a second ballscrew for the plasma.
the csmio IP/M arrived.... I wasnt at home so the delivery guy left it in the recycling bin, to keep it dry till i got home.
I forgot it wass bin collection day - the bin got collected. 315 euros gone to the fkkkkkking tip, gaahhhhhhhhhhhh

entertainment and maybe i can make cash from ideas? no clue. they are production machines so they are going to produce something.
@gaz1 yeah nah, there isnt enough room to store the mateial at either side, so they are going sideways. im taking the night off tonight, i was like a zombie today, ill do that tomo.
@Hood so yah, i had spotted those controllers just after paying for the csmio, and i actually liked the concept so much, that i was thinking i would try get 200 for the csmio. The guy is building a THC into the unit, but thats a few months off, so ill try get the gerber going first. The masso is 475 euros delivered, and so tidy. The interface is very agreeable to me also, its like a PlayStation 1 interface.
