Hi,
New member!
I am plugwelding stub axles with a square section of 35mm into hollow square section box. I can only find 2.5mm wall thickness 40mm square available. I am not too concerned about bending as I am u bolting the 40mm section to a thicker section, but what concerns me is whether the 35mm section will slide into the 40mm box easily enough or should I go for 2mm wall thickness to be certain. I dont want to drive the stub axles in only to find them bind midway in!
Would appreciate any thoughts on the matter!!
