Hello everyone.
Can I ask a question?
Recently I've been doing my F650 Bike calipers. Before I put in the new pistons, gators, stainless bleed screws and banjo bolts, I thought Id blast them, epoxy prime them, put a solvent based 2k base on, then , finish with a 2 K clear, with Anthracite Pearl .
IT went on well and is the hardest paint I've had on any caliper.
Unfortunately, I'm fussy, there are ' Pubes and, bits of Mosquito, in the final clear , pearl.!
I'm rubbing em , back down with 600 wet an dry, broke through the base and the primer a little but , but I'm surprised how hard this paint is .
Do you reckon that if I just degrease now, and shoot the pearl / clear on again , it will adhere? It looks like a fine mat / satin finish now, and with a coat of water , looks ' mirror smooth. Should I now just shoot a very careful coat of , Clear / pearl or Dy reckon I should abraid upto 40O wet and dry?
Thanks in advance
