So after buying what I needed and getting some practice back in, it came to clear coat time.
Now i read that in the region of 40-50 psi is a good pressure to spray the clear at, with a HVLP gun.
Sadly I did still get some orange peel. I'm not sure if this was to do with me having to regulate the pressure on my compressor rather than with a regulator (the regulator I bought was sh*t) and stopped working immediately.
Can someone recommend a good regulator and also what pressure are you guys spraying your clear at?
I do hate flatting down by hand, then buffing to get a good finish.
