Hi folks,
Wanting to strip and clean my new to me colchester triumph lathe. It's just covered in old oil and dust and muck. I'm not planning on painting it, just getting it to a point when I touch things I don't end up black as the night...
What do folk recommend? I've got some old gunk degreaser, brake cleaner, obviously I can get kero (we've got a red diesel tank on the farm actually) or petrol?
I've read the likes of screwfix degreaser are caustic so will damage bits?
Cheers, Dan
