it will make a good paperweightIts still readable so could be used as isBut how would you even restore this height gauge ? You would have to surface grind all the rust off to get back to clean unmarked metal, taking all the scales off it at the same time. Remark the scales and then have it satin chrome plated again. A huge amount of work for nothing when you can buy those chesterman height gauges off ebay for small money.
