They came from weldequip. I went a bit mad and bought a whole load of adrasive things for the angle grinder. Other favourites are the ultra thin cutting discs and flap discs.Malcolm where did you get the clean & strip discs you recommend in your 'Paint Stripping' article. Looking to take my Spitifre back to bare metal so will probably give these a shot.

Has anyone tried 3M's bristle discs? I've seen them on one of the bodywork vids kicking about on YouTube, but they seem difficult to get hold of over here. They come in 1", 2" and 3" diameter, which look good for those important little places.

Yes, the garage trade also use them for gasket stripping, 3m rolocs have a backing disc with a 1/4 shank to fit a die grinder or drill chuck. They last well but are around £5 each for the 2"
