i am trying to find out which engine is fitted to the clarkes dg 6000 dves as i need a new piston anc shells thanks in advance

Ask the Machine Mart parts service .

Are the bore , big end and little end in excellent condition ? Do you have the gasket set and piston rings .

I'm about to scrap my fourth small engine in three months , as it appears hard to pull over and like all cheapie in need of Mates Rates repairs it had clean untainted engine oil in it . Kin eBay buys and Auction Bid Wins .

Now I've taken the 120 bar pressure pump off it , it'll be interesting to find if the crank bearing is seized or both piston and crank bearing are screwed

Financially & in the case of reliability it's not worth repairing , as I can get a new replacement engine off Ali Express or Temu for about £120 delivered in 10 or so days from a Free Port store

I have fitted quite few of those Honda copy engines of different sizes.......none have ever broke.....will continue to fit em....

some of the cheap engines have a crome / nickel coating on an ally bore...have seen a few where the coating just rubs away....
again not worth repairing.....

Put the order in tonight for a small 50 cc engine off TEMU , delivered in 5 working days , at £65 including tax. It's a no brainer as the old engine is seized rock solid .
