hello all.
i am a newby to welding,i have had a couple of weeks playing with my stick welder(a sipmate 140),but have recently purchased a welder from a mates brother.i have posted about this in the introductions section, and have most of my questions answered i think.but thought i wd post here to hopefully get definate answers.it is a blue welder with 151/1 turbo on the front.however i cannot find a marking on it anywhere to say what make it is.it is commonly thought to be a very old clarke.i payed £80 for it,it came with a twin dial regulator, and a part used reel of wire.here are some pics.

hopefully no-one is going to say i was ripped off, lol.
i know it will probably b hard to tell from the pics, but does anyone know for definate whether or not it is indeed a clarke welder.i have no destructions for it,and cannot find this model in the download section of the forums.th eother and main q for now(tho im sure i will have plenty in the future) is,i know it is a gas welder because of the regulator, but can it b used with flux cored wire and therefore without gas? ive read posts that say you have to swap the leads over to do this.i am unsure whether i can do this.and certainly not without removing the covers because the leads go inside the welder.am i right in thinking this means it is a gas only welder? i intend getting a bottle and gas for it when funds permit.but it wd b nice to try it out without in the meantime, and most of my welding will have to b done outside till i get a garage.here is a pic with the side door open,so u can see the spool of wire,so you can see there is no easy way of changing polarity.

hopefully u knowledgeable people will b able to confirm/answer my q's.
thanks in advance.
