novice welder needs help. my mig welder works good sometimes but other times the wire feed starts to slip or piles up when it slips i tighten the tention control and still slips so i open tention control push wire through and sometimes works i thought i might need a new wire feed wheel can not find any parts in my city any suggestions

Make sure the liner is up close to the feed roller.

Check the idler roller stays parallel to the drive roller, they can wear or the pivot can flex. ALso make sure the idler assembly pivots freely, have seen them get stiff.

Could be a bad tip or neck liner. Crappy wire can cause problems too.

you talk about idler roller is that the roller above the wheel drive for the wire i do not have a manaul so i do not know parts names and again i am a novice

Yes, the idler is above the drive roller.

Sounds like your torch needs a service.
New liner, swan neck spring and tip should see it back to it's former self, treat it to a new shroud while you're at it.
