Hi all thinking of buy this little welder for car repairs (Fiesta rs turbo).
I weld with Tig but have done a few thing's with Mig in the past so not a complete beginner.

I was just wondering that comes with the welder as it states "The kit includes everything to get you started" looking at buying from Machine Mart.
Is the wire 0.08 or .6 and is the gas argon mix or just plain Co?

Any anwsers would be most welcome.

Not sure of the details you are asking about but befor you rush out to MM worth trying to get your hands on one of there vat free vouchers and hanging on for a vat free day You need to sign up on there website or if you make a purchase they will ask if you have an email address (one of the few times it's worth giving a shop your email address!! ps fords forever...

I was recommended the clarke pro90 on here and its been doing a great job so far.
Bought mine for bodywork too , it goes low enough that the thinner stuff doesnt vapourise. A few people have said that it wont manage as thick as the stated 4mm - more like 3mm.

dont use the small dispossible gas bottles you only get 10 minutes solid welding time from them it will cost you an arm and a leg

mine came with 0.6mm

the mask is the worst quality ever , id suggest you budget for a auto one if you havent got any suitable already
