Bit more fettling this evening.
The donor Sealey's work return lead had been snipped short. I didn't want to mess with the crimped joint to the centre tap, so I joined the extra cable using a ghetto copper crimp.
Cut, bashed and tweaked from some scrap 10 mm microbore pipe. Taped then heat shrunk.
Now I need to find some light blue smooth finish paint. True to form, much of the original paint has disappeared... I've found that if one uses another colour and finish (e.g. green Hammerite
) that it attracts far fewer buyers.
