Clarke MIG151 EN

I'm sure it's been asked a million times already but...

Will this run from a 13amp feed? The MM website says 30amp minimum, I just want to be double sure before I jump in.

It's a toss up between the 151EN and the 160EN, the 160 is £55 more and the only difference I can see is the colour and the 160 has a rotary power button, is that right?

If I get the 151 I can get a decent Co2 regulator from Weldequip and still save over the 160.

I'm really confused

The Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) is higher on those two models, particularly the 151EN, compared to the 130EN, so they don't perform as nice on thin sheet. That's why the 130EN is in the shop & not those two models
All will operate from a 13amp supply.

Thanks for the advice weldequip. My brain is slowly starting to frazzle lol. Will the 130EN do a decent job of welding 3mm mild steel welded mesh to 2mm thick mild steel? I worried the 130 wont be man enough for the job.

You'll only be tacking the mesh to the steel? so yes, no problem at all. In fact you'd get away with a smaller model for that; what's the job exactly?

Weldequip - I'm planning on making something similar to this...

I will be using 20x20mm mild steel box for the frame and door apartures, the box will be 2mm thick and the welded wire mesh is 3mm.

Mine is going to be more complicated than the one pictured as I want to have a shelf 3/4 up and two smaller doors.
