Will do gasless; that will be difficult on body panels.
Add a regulator for gas and it will do fine.
I would go a bit bigger, at least the 130EN.
Weldequip sells the Clarke line; may not have the real low-end machines. PM him to see what he has, would probably match price and have better service.
shenion, i think your right about the 130EN, the extra power covers you ok for chassis work and slightly thicker sections, easy enough to manage 4mm with that. which then means if the need requires you can make your own car ramps etc.
Migmonkey i second shenion's opinion a 130EN would be better
Cheers guys. The 105 is gasless with gas upgrade option. I will be using it to weld frame tubing for bicycles.i am trying to keep it all 13amp so i don't have the added hassle of re wiring the garage. will try and look at prices
Most 180amp machines will run on a 13amp supply no problem, with the occasional popping of the fuse, due to heat. A 150amp will run happy enough on a 13amp supply and the 130 most definatly
Yeah, my Clarke 151TE runs full power on a 13A fuse, with no problems. If you are welding bike frames though, you'll probably be better off with gas, as its a lot easier to learn (so I'm told) and easier to get a better looking weld, e.g. nicer shape, less spatter etc.
