For education or entertainment purposes, can you disconnect ALL electronic things, Get it warm, not full wack, but give it ‘large’ rpm. Stick something over air inlet see if it carries on running, sucking in air.

Success then failure followed by success!
I replaced the fuel pump and then the fuel filter and some fuel line. It started and ran happily and so I turned off the fuel and let it die. A day or so later, I tried to restart it without success. Investigation led me to a lack of fuel again and so I started swapping out other fuel lines which got me nowhere. Working my way through the fuel system eventually led me to the new hose that I had fitted to the carburettor. Bear in mind that this is meant to be the correct fuel hose for the purpose...
