Hi
Been lurking for a while, and finally took the pludge!
Picked up this clarke 160te yesterday, after months of searching, and reading advice, from this forum. It will be used to weld bit's and pieces, on my 73 bay.
I have added pictures, as I know this helps, well for me anyway.
Q1. Here is the gas shroud, and contact tip, which both look a little worse for wear. Is it worth also buying the contact tip holder, and is this easy to fit? Ive seen the parts here http://www.weldequip.com/clarke-160-torch.htm
Q2. The previous owner was using disposable canisters, and I'm looking to upgrade to Argon with 5% mix bottle. I'm looking to get this regulator http://www.weldequip.com/argonmix-conversion-kit.htm
Is this the correct one? and how will this fit into the machine (pic attached), as I'm unsure how the nickle plated brass connector will fit into the welder? Will it use the existing pipe, or will I need to plumb in a new connector? And again is this easy?
Final question The earth clip is a little exposed. Shall I tape it up, like most of my bay or shall I replace?
Thank you
