Hope this is the right place to post this one.
I noticed in a couple of threads that one can sometimes change the plarity on welders and have a little c
Clarke 160EN ( hardly used ) in the no gas , fluxed steel mode & have noticed that it is difficult to get a good even frying eggs & bacon sounding weld .(hence my site name
)
I have changed the polarity but it lets me still weld much the same as my name
I think I have the feeds and current OK and know that the earth to the metal is good ( checked by an ohmeter ) can any of you suggest a reason or two not though of for real blobby welds on clean mild 3 mm thick steel please
.
Thanks
David
