I was around my mates house the other day, trying to get his welder to work. Its playing silly buggers.
Before I got there, they had got the wire to burn back and weld itself to the and the shroud. So once they'd got all that off, replaced the tip and shroud we tried again.
It seems to be struggling to feed the wire, like every quarter turn of the reel it stops, then starts again.
I've checked that the reel turns freely, and the motor doesn't do it when its not under load.
I've suggested a new wire liner, but is there anything else that could be causing these problems?
