Clarke 150TE vs Clarke 150EN

Hi. Could someone please explain the reason why the TE unit is so much more expensive than the EN? On the face of it I would have expected it to be the other way around, as the EN offers the gassless option too. Clearly the TE must do something much better for the vastly higher price (and the fact that it is AutoExpress Best Buy). What am I missing?

The current model 151EN is sold as a No Gas Dual Purpose Mig Welder but to use it with gas you will need to buy a regulator and gas cylinder.
The 150TE comes ready for gas welding.

I don't know why the difference in price is around £72.

Maybe you could get more information by phoning your nearest Machine Mart.

as far as i know the te come with a dual purpose regulator for co2 or argon mix, but that isn't worth the 72 quid extra. Apart from that when the en is set for gas it is the same as the te i think
