Hello folks, i have a fairly new Clarke 150TE mig, which has been working superbly for a few months. I use it mostly on 0.9 car body steel, but recently i cranked it up and used it to weld some heavy box section while making a new workbench. After making the bench, i returned to more welding on the car but since then, the welds are spluttering and really quite poor. The arc strikes well but the weld seems to pulse and also the welds are quite raised. Not like before where they were nice and flat, rounded and with very little spatter. I cant for the life of me work out whats caused this as im using the same gas, wire and power settings. I use 0.8 wire with argomix gas. Anyone experienced this before? Many thanks in advance.
