Had my welder for a while, not done a lot with it but found the wire feed a bit "sticky"
Eventually sorted by doing two things,
Making two plastic washers out of an empty plastic milk bottle and positioning these to either side of the wire spool.
Removing the top roller unit from the wire tensioner, opening the hole out, a tiny bit with some emery cloth and lubricating this with thin oil.
I've now got a much smoother and quieter wire feed, and far tidier runs.
I'd also had problems with the gas regulator supplied with the welder, still rubbish, I intend upgrading, with one that has a ball style flow meter if possible.
I read a good few articles before buying the Clarke, thought I'd got a good, but quite expensive buy, I now think that perhaps they are less able than I had been led to believe, more homework may have been advised.
I'll keep watching and learning, enjoying it mainly..
