Clarke 100E mk2

Hi all
I have a Clarke 100e mk2.
I've never used it, went out and bought gas and wire and a regulator, being new I wasn't sure of anything, I bought a standard Reg £17 from halfords, got home excited to try it.
But then noticed the regulator was way to small for the pipe on the welder, I bought the welder as it is so wasn't sure about pipe size, today I took the pipe of, the nut is 3 quarters of an inch, the screw bit on the welder measures 1.9mm. I really need help on what I need to get so it can take the small reg and a disposable bottle.

you need something like this for disposable bottles just to test the machine the pipe just pushes straight into it unless yours has had an adaption to fit a bigger gas bottle

weldequip on here also does them but is a bit dear to me but the wright ups on them are good with faultys been replaced really quickly and very adequate help from them as well

Take that back to Halfords and buy a proper regulator. It looks like someone has already modified it to take one.

I took it back already along with co2 gas and small spool of 0.6 wire.
If I get a bigger reg how can I use the small bottles ?
Been doing my head it searching for how to do this, also I won't know what regulator will fit.

you have to decide which bottles that you intend to use with your welder

theres 2 things you have to decide

portable buy a portable bottle and adapter to fit it
insitue buy the volkszone offer and adapter and you could consider a longer gas pipe to the mig depanding on the area your working in

most put the bottle on a kart and move mig and bottle together saves on the extra expense
