this is the new motor I got from machine mart can you tell me if I’ve wired it up properly and does this sound right

I'll go take some picturesAs Spark Plug said, definitely not right. Green/Yellow is earth for a start.

I was told it was a single phaseThat's a three phase motor. Why the capacitor? I thought you wre going single phase.

try your live and neutral from the power cable on the first 2 connectors, as in the closest to the cable entry gland *edit make sure your earths on the body of the motor as wellHow can I wire it up
This is all I haveWell, going by the connector block I'd have said three phase. There is usually a diagram on the cover for that block.
