I've recent bought a jack it does lift but drops quite quick 2 cm in 10 mins
I've refilled the ram and done the remove air using the instructions from clark and done this a few times lifts better but still drops
I've done a bit of Google fu and come up with a few vids of changing the seals on a few Jack's (not this one but assume they are most the same)
But I have found a thread that said the 2 ton is obsolete and kits for them are gone and not get able and that was 2009 so I'm assuming 15 years later im fubared
But I'm assuming these are only rubber rings I need are they just rubber o rings or special ones ?
Around the piston it self there seams to be no leaks but once jacked up on the last photo you can see where most of the oil is coming from under the twist jack release star bit there is a slight bit coming from the lift mech bar bit as well but nit as much as the lots of wet under the star bit
Any ideas on fixing this are they as said just rubber rings and any ideas of sizes any one done one ?
Ps I only had a battery And a bit of extra weight on it for a few hours for it to drop so if under a car I'd expect it to drop a lot faster ?
