Hi all, I've just picked up a second hand clark 150 te turbo mig that needs a new wire feed control knob where would be the best place to get one ,or if anybody has one for sale let me know .ps it does use gas if that makes a difference thanks
All the usual suspects Maplin, RS, CPC, Farnell, you just need the value, fixing hole diameter and shaft diameter and whether logarithmic or linear - I would guess linear.
It should be printed on the pot itself or maybe on the printed circuit board. Otherwise get an ohmmeter and measure the resistance between the two outer connections.
If you take it to a local electronics hobby supplier they should be able to match it up for you, maybe even Maplins might have someone who could use a multimeter.
