Does anyone recognise this model of fill valve please as I would like to replace the seal which is leaking.

Is this causing it to dribble into the pan, leading to it re-filling every so often? Mine (also a SIAMP) is doing similar, and I keep putting off fixing it. I've seen a video showing how to clean the washer, but when I tried to remove the fill valve by twisting it, I couldn't get it to move. I've since seen another video that suggests I need to push down and turn, and I'll have to try it soon.

Toilet problems (Not that sort)
Another one for the oracle! The bog fills up when it is flushed but then keeps hissing at a high pitch as water is still passing through the little inlet next to the nut where my finger is. Had a fiddle and there is nothing blocking it etc. Its all fantastic plastic so it might be easier to...

agree swap it out not a bad job to do if you got a isolator valve easy one
turn off water flush toilet use sponge for the last bits water unscrew replace and done and forget about it for another 10 years dont penny pinch on the replacement go as above and the next time you do it
its off water pull the slip colier and pull out and replace top part 5 min job

That looks like the same thing that broke on my fancy cold water tank fill...all I did was replace the rubber seal.

That was my plan so I got a new valve this morning.
Then the fun started
the cistern is mounted so far forward it traps the nut against the pan.So I thought I'd unscrew the cistern and lift it up as I slackened the nut and repeat in reverse for the new valve until I saw the state of the fixing screws, just blobs of rust.
Thanks to @Blobber link I have a new seal on order
and hope that cures it or I can see a replacement of complete toilet.

I misread the title - I think the issue on mine is the flush valve doesn't seat properly, rather than a problem with the fill valve. Sometimes I can just give the flush button a quick push and it'll fill up much less often.

Just to close this one, the new seal didn't work so I bought a complete new fill valve and swapped the top of it with mine, job done
