Some interesting ideas up there @optima21. One of the more interesting ideas I have seen recently (CEE, cutting edge engineering see the YouTube thread) is to mount a free spinning four jaw independent chuck to your tailstock! Curtis uses this to hold long bar stock or pipes so that he can dial it in at both ends before committing to a centre.
