Made with some leftover 3mm annealed wire that I used earlier this year to make a fisherman sculpture. Just for fun. Not the best cage twist in the world!

I ended up making a small batch of the cage twists & putting nice ribbon on from Hobby Craft. They'll become presents for the impossible-to-buy-for inlaws.

Without giving away your trade secrets how do you do the spirals and get them so tight?

This is an old video but the same process. You start them by hand, then switch to the vise.
This is awesome. Made me think - Christmas markets are truly awful selling temu tat for 10x the price. They should do an Etsy style traditional Christmas market where you can buy unusual hand made gifts that you just cant get anywhere else.

They do exist, you just have to hunt for them.
Been to a few this year. Usually in village halls etc..
