I genuinely don't know anything about these but wanted to know more. Please don't take it otherwise.

Evolution chop saw i bought a little one don't know model number. don't like it because it flexes put a wood blade in it cuts wood ok shame i got no use for a wood saw most likely give it away oneday

What flexes? The blade or the arm the saw slides along?

I find with mine (sliding mitre saw), that's it's useless for cutting through housings in timber. The base of the trench ends up +/-3mm. I was hoping it would be better but have to stick with the DeWalt radial arm saw for those.

I wouldn't however be without it for general rough cutting, think shed and fence building rather than cabinet making.

Totally different I know, but I've got a powered hacksaw, Q&S 6H if I remember correctly, and the sounds it makes would put babies to sleep

I also have Qualters & Smith powered hacksaw/donkey saw. Slow to cut but mesmerising to watch

I used to use my Rage saw to cut metal but found it was not cost effective enough to me cutting steel (I once cut some steel with welded bits and the blade blunted pretty quick). The Rage saw is now only used to cut wood.

don't know most likely the plastic bits as it cuts wood straight
