choice of steel and filler plz

Hi Guys

I am doing a mod to a triumph (car) chassis

It will involve doing away with the leaf spring being mouthed to the differential and then being mounted to the chassis via a few bits of box section and a 25mm thick plate

What might have the original chassis grade of steel be made off ????

Can I buy different quality box section ???

lastly the 25 mm plate to which the leaf spring will now be mounted on, again, what flavor to use and what Tig filler rod to use for the g
job plz

You can usually get S235, S275 or S355 box section - higher strength by request.
