Choice between Sealeys?

Hi There - after a bit of research on other threads, and starting my MIG/MAG course at the local agricultural college, I'm about to get a welder.
Incidentally, having an individual welding booth and Murex280-3 on the course to play with is pretty damn plush. On the rare occasions I get it right the machine gives off a loud contented buzz.

The kit I'm looking for will be for restoring an old Riley - lots of panel, floor and chassis work - SWG20 an SWG18?

The Sealeys I'm looking at are

There's plenty of other choice and Clarkes get a good press, but I would appreciate any comment on the 2 machines listed - I've decided against some of the 2nd hand ebay stuff which may be short sighted but the savings aren't as great as they sometimes seem....?

Sorry, I appear to have screwed up the links in my previous thread - the machines I'm interested in are

1. a Supermig 150 at £215 delivered

2 a Supermig 180 with a Eurotorch for £399 delivered

Really appreciate any comments on these

Hi,

I use a Sealey MightyMig 190 - very similar to the Supermig 180 but with less voltage settings and I find it to be a great welder! It is a well built unit with a good spec and is great value for money and is comparable if not better than the Clarke versions!

I would go for the SuperMig 180 as the extra power available will be handy for heavier guage steel.
