when they snap u can end up ruining hundreds of pounds worth of gear u have just fitted
They're made by CadburysFitting a shower screen today, need to drill 3 holes and put screws in. Came with a drill bit, this happened in hole 3. It’s thin aluminium

I'd love to know the actual ingredients of the metal included tools are made of.
I mean, it's usually magnetic and the wrong 'feel' for anything cast, but it's usually softer than aluminium.
Must've taken ages to develop an alloying recipe that makes steel that soft.
worrying thing is it sounds like a tek screw would make a better drill bit and youd think they were made as cheep as possible
I didn't have an security allen key with me so I used the one that came with the kit, it snapped at the bend on the first go so I had to weld it back together to finish the job.the golden rule is don't use screws drills and allen keys supplied with gear . bin them and use your own or u will regret it
