Chinese plasma consumables - how are they

I've seen on Ebay Chinese made consumables for my Hypertherm 1250 plasma cutter (T80 torch) since their price is significantly lower than the gnuine parts, I wanted to ask if someone had bought them and used them and if so what is the verdict? "to buy or not to buy"?

Rubbish. Buy genuine Hypertherm consumables.
The Chinese ones are made from a rather poor form of cheese that destroy themselves in next to no time.

We worked out the lifespan of the consumables as 5 Chinese to 1 Hypertherm.

I am looking at an invoice for a set of Hypotherm consumables delivered the other day. 5 electrodes, 5 nozzle, one swirl ring and one retaining cap.

I could have bought a Chinese plasma cutter for not much more, but consider the Hypotherm still to be better value.

Yes, if you factor in lost time messing about forever changing consumables, loss of cut quality and additional cleaning up etc the Hypertherm ones are reasonable value for money.

Ours cut up to 40mm, with Chinese consumables they won't cut much more above 20mm without it looking like someone has chewed through it.

My view is that I chose to buy the Hypertherm when I could have bought a Chinese one. What is the point in then compromising it? I would have been as well buying the Chinese machine.
