Were only 10 miles from a fuel station, but having a pair or 3000 liter oil tanks, one for red, the other heating oil, Im quite tempted.

Do these come with the plastic tank, or is that an extra.

When I had my defender I fancied a diesel heater. It was £1.2k for a new Eber or £700 for a reconditioned unit on ebay. Research suggested at that time the main fault was the control boards and Eber wanted £300 for a new one. In the end I sold the defender and never did get the heater, couldnt afford it.

I’m glad the chinese are undercutting them, you could buy a new chinese unit every year for 10 years now for the same price of a new Eber. Thats a lot of financial wiggle room for breakages.

Mine came with a 15L tank which I specifically looked for, others had 5 or 10L. Not sure but some might come with no tank.

I'm sure when I looked at the one in the link that fizzy posted, it had a 10ltr tank with it, or you can plumb it into the vehicle tank.

Yes they come with a 10L tank but I am going to use a 30L one.
They are designed to run on diesel but they stay cleaner on kero.
Just remember with all these heaters cleanliness is next to Godliness - I have a filter/water trap on the IBC and use a filter/water trap funnel as well.

I wouldn't trust a Chinese one in a area i was going to sleep in whatever the price.

Nor me no way would I have one in my truck no matter how cheap it was, a well serviced Ebber will last for years anyway
